dreading back to sch

new week, continuing the sch sem. sianz.
back to the nv-ending pile of work rolling in like free.

enjoyed myself with the 7laps (highest record) swim with sis on childrens' day.

enjoyed the short meet-up with my rsh colleagues for peiling's hsewarming on sat noon.

enjoyed the bday chalet for jorine with the rest of her guests on sat night.

enjoyed the movies and kite-flying with hc today.

the stupid drunk indian man on the bus just now, so irritating. purposely sat beside me despite the emptiness of the bus, asked me the bus route still nvm, told me his financial prob, family in india, blah blah, and started sobbing..wth?! i was so irritated by him, i changed seat. luckily the man alighted b4 my stop, if not i dunno how to go home ah! and all thanks to hc, acc me back home on the phone :)

oh well, bad experience~

last day of sch this week

just had a short group discussion and configured to sch's wireless. now free time, to slack OR do assignment. and obviously i decided to spare some time to blog and explore my netbook.

i decided to name my netbook. let's call it whity! xiao bai in chinese. cos it's white in colour, oh that's so not creative. haha whatever.

feeling low, tired, troubled. kept thinking abt some things which are so redundant. i need a brainwash.

and i'm looking forward to tmr's comms ball. shopped and bought a new pair of shoes yday at bugis to go with the dress.

assignments and test coming up soon. work hard.

comex - 682

yes, today's the last day of comex, and i spent 682bucks on my netbook aspireone with 2yrs entended warranty, comes with free ram upgrade to 2gb and wireless mouse..

as expected, it was damn packed..hc bumped into quite a few friends, and me, erm only 1..my best childhood neighbour, jacq :)

went for dinner with dad, uncle ant and one of their friend, for dad's bday..had dinner at the coffeeshop at boonlay place..i like the prawns! *hate all the naggings thou* blah blah blah! luckily i brought a good eating buddy along!

shopped ard at jp..didnt manage to buy the shoes that i wanted..that's pretty sad, need to recce more alrdy..

yes yes comms ball! hc has commissioned from ocs! like finally! 3/4 yr of training finally over..went to his comms parade with his fam..so happy for him, and so proud of him! good job love ;)

swam

went for a swim just now at bishan with lynette. after which we went for lunch nearby. and shopped ard j8. we swam 5 laps, in the comp pool. highest record so far. sense of achievement. thanks lyn.

felt better today, but i feel like playing basketball too. feel like running too. missed playing volleyball.

mentioning abt vb, in nie, i saw my vb senior weixin (she's in chem/bio), saw cps classmate hweefen (yr3) and blss schmate esther (yr3) as well. all teachers wannabe. but they're so far ahead of me. perhaps that's the difference between capable and not capable. planned and unplanned. goal and w/o goal.

watched a short clip yday in edpsyII tutorial. it's abt sue, she's a lady with special needs. disabled, mild retardation, vocal disability. she's different from us, she's much stronger. she communicates thru sign lauguage and works in pizza pit (america), folding pizza boxes. and she has an ambition, she wanted to change job, to become a teacher. she went to sit in a childcare home, teaching little kids sign language. she did what she wanted to do. she achieved more than she could. i admire her, her mental ability, strength. and envy her determination.

last part of the clip, she said she had a boyfriend, and wants to get married. and with the help of social workers, she did. a simple wedding, but touching and blissed. she washes her own dishes and looks after her husband. her husband is great too. he, who reliants on wheelchair, communicates thru simple sign language and pointing at words to express himself. we all wondered, how did they manage to communicate? the answer is: it's spiritual union. i'm so touched and happy for them.

someone asked her this qn: who decides for you?
she answered: ME (pointing to herself)

this video sets me thinking. how fortunate we are, to be able to talk. but still, pple have communication breakdown. a point taken from a tutorial grpmate: we are only physically abled, but might not be emotionally. sue and her hubby, they are physically disabled, but not emotionally. they treasured whatever they have, but normal pple dont.

she affirms that she makes decision herself. how abt us? do we make decisions by ourselves? or we tend to make decisions to please others? or let others decide for us?

or at least, me. i feel that i am not even worth being where i am, and what i have. sue deserves more than me.
